Tì Bann, fair tea in Gaelic, comes to us after a number of experiments. There are so many different techniques to explore in making white tea.
A fine pick of a leaf and a bud, this is our first large (ish) batch of white tea.
Delighted that we’ve created a process that works for our leaves.
Sweet juicy apples seem to be locked in the dry leaf.
As the water unravels this tea, the sweet apple scent intensifies and is joined by a hint of peach. This wonderful refreshing sweet peach taste then softens into creamy memories as it cools.
Straight from Guisachan Estate, this white-ish tea is fresh as it was crafted in June 2026.
Teas mellow with age, especially in the first few months, so it will become even smoother.
Always interesting to discover how the taste profile of teas change, a journey worth experiencing.
